The job plan is an important part of the senior doctor’s contract of employment. It is an annual – future-focused – agreement that is discussed and approved jointly between you and your employer(s). It provides you both with the opportunity to review your working relationship in terms of responsibilities and duties, and the support provided by the employer(s) to sustain and support patient care.
