One stop shop guide: Covid Vaccination and Pregnancy Guide for Barnsley Health Professionals-August 2021

Lots of work is taking place to support people who are pregnant, or breastfeeding, to have their COVID-19 vaccine. There has been lots of guidance and changes to the offer for people in this group so a quick guide has been pulled together for colleagues working in GP practices, community pharmacies and the midwifery service.
The feedback from women is that they want to have a conversation with a trusted healthcare professional and for the messages and information to be clear and consistent. The feedback from staff is that they’d welcome a summary so they are more confident in having conversations about the vaccine.
