Neurology service

At present Barnsley Hospital does not run a full neurology service.

However, in order to provide a service close to home for Barnsley patients, consultants attend from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield.

The clinics currently provided at Barnsley Hospital include:

• Epilepsy Clinic
• General Clinic
• Counselling

Further neurological specialist services are provided from the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield.

Patients can be referred from their General Practitioners or seen as an inpatient on the ward.
