Due to kit manufacturing and supply issues the referral laboratory are unable to currently test for Bordetella Pertussis serology (IgG). The issues are expected to be resolved early June 2024 when they will resume testing. Hence, there will be a delay in receiving results.
If the illness is acute please send a green topped viral swab for B. pertussis PCR.
