Referral from and pathway for Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in children

All ASDAT ( Autism referrals) require an active Early Help Assessment ( EHA) in place , if this is not in place then the referral will be rejected. These can be raised through the family's local family centre or through the Childs school. Parents should be advised to approach school / their family centre themselves to raise an EHA. Autism referrals cannot be raised through a GP.
