Older Adult Health Psychology Service service

The Older Adult and Health Psychology service provides effective, safe and personalised psychological services throughout Barnsley for people with a range of mental health issues relating to later life issues – this is typically at age 65+ but which may occur earlier in the lifespan.

This includes people with memory problems, people who have had a stroke, people accessing neuropsychological rehabilitation services and those individuals with palliative care needs(this covers all adult and older adults -18-end of life).

Within the service, we provide a range of treatment depending on the needs of each individual:
