Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) units service

Medical SDEC are happy to take referrals through Rightcare for patients that meet the following criteria :

• NEWS <4
• Clinically judged as stable and fit to sit in a chair
• Not acutely confused 
• Clinically judged as stable for a COLD area 
• Able to mobilise independently 
• No social issue
• Can be treated on an ambulatory basis without the need for admission.
