Cervical Screening - Out of Hours
Each GP practice in Barnsley can offer patients access to cervical screening appointments through the Extended Hours Service.
Clinics are staffed by a Nurse Sample Taker and a Nurse Associate, with clinical supervision provided by the Nurse Sample Taker.
Accessing the service
The central administration team will contact patients directly to book them into the available clinics once these have been added.
Clinic opening times:
- Monday to Friday: 18:30 – 22:30
- Weekends and bank holidays: 10:00 – 14:00
Referral guidelines
To refer patients, practices should complete a referral form and email it to syicb-barnsley.iheartscreening@nhs.net.
