Improving Health Inequalities Training - LeDeR Training Programme

A new and innovative online training programme addressing the key findings identified from The Learning Disabilities Mortality Review Programme (LeDeR). The latest report published shows that men and women are dying on average 22 years and 27 years earlier respectively and have listed a number of recommendations for local systems to deliver.
The South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System are committed to improving health inequalities and want to support care staff that provide care and support to people with learning disabilities and people with autism across a range of care settings. The training programme will cover the following areas and will be delivered over a 12 month period to allow people to join all the sessions when convenient:
- Dysphasia/Posture
- Sepsis awareness
- Epilepsy and Seizure control
- Constipation
