ASD Adult Autistic Spectrum Disorder
The service for adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) offers specialist support for adults referred for diagnostic assessment and specialist interventions. Autism spectrum disorder is also known as autism spectrum conditions (ASC).
Service users referred to our service have access to medical, nursing, psychology and occupational therapy practitioners. Specialist social work support is also available from the team or from our local authority partners, depending on the area.

Who should be referred
The service for adults with autism spectrum disorder works with adults from the age of 18 years upwards, who do not have an additional learning disability.
Adults with a diagnosed learning disability and autism spectrum conditions can also receive support from local learning disability services.
Referrals can be made directly to the service on 01924 316490 or via the Trust’s Single Point of Access team.
