Who should be referred
All women who have chosen to have their baby at Barnsley after they have had their first scan and at various other stages in pregnancy if required. For the majority of women most of the antenatal care after this first visit will be provided by their named community midwife in their local area.
We also facilitate clinics that specialise in:
- Teenage pregnancy
- Substance misuse
- Endocrinology i.e. diabetes, thyroid disorders
