Health Integration Team service
The health integration team aims to facilitate the integration of overseas arrivals into main stream health services and address inequalities in health and wellbeing. The team has responsibility for newly arrived asylum seekers residing in Barnsley, asylum seekers under the age of 18 without family, refugees, migrant workers and immigrants within the local community.
The team provides:
Drop in service
Initial Health Assessment for GP registration
New arrival TB screening
Community Health Events
Interim Prescriptions
Information packs regarding health care services
