Gender Dysphoria shared care guideline

Prescribing hormone treatment for transman and transwoman patients.

 

The Barnsley Area Prescribing Committee has approved this guidance for use by Prescribers within Primary Care who choose to prescribe within their scope of practice

  • *Trans man medication (This applies to a person assigned female, cis-female, at birth undertaking gender transition to become a male)
  • *Trans woman medication (This applies to a person assigned male, cis male, at birth undertaking gender transition to become a female)
