2WW Gynaecology Referral Form - and suspected Ovarian cancer

Following the review of the NG12 (2015) Guidance update for 2026, the South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Cancer Alliance have updated the 2WW Gynaecology urgent suspected cancer referral form.

 

The updated form includes the following changes:

  • Revised age thresholds for urgent suspected ovarian cancer referrals.
  • Updated CA-125 result thresholds based on patient age for urgent suspected ovarian cancer pathways.
  • Revised age threshold for suspected endometrial cancer referral in women who are not receiving HRT.

 

Attached is a link to the Cancer Alliance's Unscheduled Bleeding Guidance, which supports the management of menopause and unscheduled bleeding presentations in primary care. Whilst the guidance itself has not changed, we would like to continue signposting clinicians to this resource via the referral form.
