GP Child Protection Conference
All practices via the Practice Manager will receive notification of Child Protection Conferences from BMBC Safeguarding the electronic Child Protection Conference report should be completed and sent to the secure email address on the form at least 2 days prior to conference.
- This is a requirement in the Barnsley Safeguarding Children Board Child Protection procedures, that all partner agencies’ submit a report to enable the conference to safe make decisions with regard to whether the child requires a Child Protection plan.
- Please consider all the members of the family registered with your practice when completing the form not just the subject child/children.
- If the family have not been to the practice since the previous conference please put this on the return form as this could be relevant especially in neglect cases.
- Please note the CCG monitor the number of conference reports that each GP Practice submit as this is in a PDA.
